Every commission is built by a few people and a lot of patience. This is how a piece gets from a first sketch to your room.

Nothing here is rushed, and nothing is waiting in a warehouse. This is what happens between your commission and your room.

  1. Week 1

    The timber is chosen

We agree the drawing, then pick boards for your piece, matching grain across every panel before a saw is lifted.

  2. Week 3

    Rough cut and rest

Parts are cut oversize and left to settle in the workshop, so the wood moves now and not in your home.

  3. Week 5

    Joinery

Joints are cut, fitted and glued by hand, then checked again before the frame is closed.

  4. Week 8

    Finishing

Three coats of oil, rubbed in by hand, with a day of rest between each one.

  5. Week 10

    Delivered and placed

Two of us bring it to your room, unpack it and set it where you want it.

Every material we use, where it comes from and how to look after it. Ask and we will post you the real thing.
